All I have to say to that is GOOD LUCK. my 8 week old doesnt sleep through the night. She sleeps all night but still wakes up to eat every 3 hours or so.

Your 3 week old is not supposed to sleep through the night. It's completely normal for babies to wake during the night until 18 months - 2 years. Most babies start sleeping through the night at 6-9 months though. My son is 6 months and he still wakes up at least 2 times. He just needs to eat.

I doubt your 3 week old is going to sleep through the night. At that age they have to eat every 3-4 hours. My daughter is 6 months and still wakes up during the night every now and then

Olivia sleep through the night...from 11pm till 6am... she feeds every 4 hours during the day...She has her last feed at about 10 and will get everything she can..and then off to sleep. I guess im lucky. Olivia was really restless for a few days a while back but has generally always been a good sleeper. If she is awake though she is wide awake.

sleeps alllll day then up allllll night from about 2am-7am then again at 8am-11am... we've tried doing the whole dimming the lights at 10 n staying quiet.. keeping it dark n quiet when he wakes up to try n establish that its sleeptime not awake time but nothing!

My son was like that too. It's normal for them to be all mixed up. My son was wide awake from 11pm-3am for the first 2 weeks (he was awake at those times when I was preggo as well)
I made sure to take him into very well lit areas first thing in the morning. That helps reset their clock.
To get my son to sleep longer I had to swaddle him, give him a soother and stick him in his swing. I would get 4 hours at least when I figured out that trick. He still slept like that until a month ago and now he sleeps in his own room and it's heaven. You basically just have to wait this out and keep trying new things.
