Curious as to when everyone started showing ... this is my 3rd pregnancy .. 4th if you count my miscarriage ...I remember I was showing early on my 2nd one .. but can't remember how early ... anyone know or remember?? on pregnancies past the first one??? ↓

| i am pregnant with my third. with my first i didnt show till about 4 months. with my second baby and this one, is started showing at about 6 weeks. its not that the baby is making you show, you can have pregnancy hormones that make you bloated, so i read. ↑ |

This is my third one and I had to buy my first set of maternity pants at about 5 or 6 weeks. The dr was telling me that after having 2 others, when your body gets pregnant again--Your hormones and your belly strech out to where they remember. Your belly will start to fill in as you get further along...

| Everyone is different no matter which number they are on. You'll start showing when you start showing. I'm 11 weeks and I've got a bit of a pot belly going. Can't wait till I can fit into maternity clothes! Baby's coming!!! ↑ |

| Michelle--I didn't mean that you would gain more weight. Your belly was already streched out from your other prenancy(s) and your body tends to "pop out" so to say very early on. (in most cases) There are alot of things to take into consideration....Like, the size of the women, what number pregnancy you are on....Who really knows. All I know is that anyone that I know that has had more than one--There belly pops right back out there and goes back to what it remembers from the previous pregnancies. ↑ |

That is good, that you were able to get below your original weight before the first one--
I also, gained less with my second one. I had pre-clampsia and adema REALLY bad with my first. I think that any other pregnany I would probably weigh less.. :) there was so much water retention during my first, that when he was born--I lost like 20 pounds with him. That was kinda nice actually! :) ↑ |

| no i mean i didnt lose 15 lbs so this time im more 1st pre i was 115lbs i got up to 159lbs. this preg i started at 130lds im 5'5 so its okay but i only gained 2 lb but im only 3 months anyways so im sure it will kick in soon i think its cus i dont feel great after work so i eat a lot of sm snax during the day and cant eat after 4pm cuz dont feel good. ↑ |

That stinks...I feel for you... I wasn't feeling well in the beginning of this little guy either. There were a couple of Dr visits when I had gained 0 and now, I think I might be making up for it. I will be 30 weeks this weekend and the days just keep coming!
The weight thing...I understand...I think that is one thing I try not to think about---at least not untill AFTER baby is born! :) I think that some people get to concerned with there weight and stress out. Now, if it is something that the Dr is worried about--then worry. If not--NO STRESS HERE!!!! Good luck with your pregnancy! Hope to read some more of your posts on here. Do you ahve a journal? | Well, I'm actually on my 2nd pregnancy right now. I was shocked to see how early I'm showing and I was 4-7 weeks when I started noticing a buldge already. Of course, that's when I found out I was pregnant because I couldn't pull off a heavy set look if I was going to just buldge out like I was pregnant. It was a freaky thought at first but, I was glad to know that I was pregnant and not have to worry about my conscience telling me I need to do more crunches and stuff. Hope this reply helped. ↑ |

| I'm on my third pregnancy and I'm 17 weeks pregnant. Sara is right, your body remembers, and your belly stretches out fast, but not so continuously, in my case at least. I noticed more of a belly then I had early on, but it hasnt continued to grow as fast as it does later on down the line.I'm down to my last pair of, "to big for me jeans" that I had, but Im still not wearing maternity clothes. Im sure I will be soon, but like I said, it was a very slow progression. EVERYONE is different though. I've seen some pictures of womens bellys as they went thru the months that were way bigger then mine sooner, and way smaller then mine later.. ↑ |

| This is my third, I'm 14 weeks and I have had several people suggest I may be having twins (or triplets) though I've already had three ultrasounds; there's only one in there! I look about 6 months. I'm 5'1 so that may add to my huge looking belly. My belly started looking noticiably bigger at 8 weeks. ↑ |

| Crystal, ouch! My son was 10 lbs. 3 oz. but I didn't show until I was 7 months. After that I got huge as well. Did you have a C-section? They didn't know how big my son was until I was pushing and I was just curious if you have had any problems after the baby? ↑ |

with my 1st i didnt start showing untill 5 months, i was really thin though so maybe thats why, but with 2nd and 3rd i started showing at 3 months, now im 11 weeks pregnant and i started showing at 6 weeks, so what Sara .D was saying about body remembering previous pregnancies that just might be true,
i wouldnt worry though cause every body is different,

| I am pregnant with my 3rd child. With my first one I started showing right away. My second one it took alittle longer for me to start showing. I think I was around 5 months. I am 5 months pregnant now and I still haven't started showing. I will be 6 months soon and I have only gained 8 lbs. My doctor says that the baby is measuring right and looks real healthy. So, I guess it really just depends on your body and the baby and that time. ↑ |

| Well I'm about to dispel all theories, i'm 12 weeks into my 3rd pregnancy and with my other two I was huge (at 6 months people were asking me if i was overdue) this time there is nothing, If it wasn't for my scan and the fact I'm feeling movement already I'd have said i just had a bug and not only am I not showing I've lost 2 stone since falling pregnant (had all-clear from Docs) so it really does just depend on the idividual pregnancy!!!! ↑ |

| With my first, I got a small pouch at 4 months and round belly at 6 1/2 months. Now with my second I'm about 8-9 weeks and I can hardly button my pants. I'm not overweight, but not really skinny. I'd say I am average, but large boned. I seriously think I'm starting to show. Darn! I guess it's time to pull out the maternity clothing! ↑ |

| hi there!!.. im currently 13 weeks with my 3rd pregnancy and i am showing already.. my other two children are quite close in age they are both under 3 years, so i remember their pregnancys well and i never showed till i was about 4-5 months on them.. so this time round i am showing much earlier and i have had my 12 weeks scan and there is only one baby.. (phew) lol.. i think it is simply your body remembering what it has already done in the last pregnancys.. so nothing to worry about.. but if you do get worried talk to your doctor.. take care xx ↑ |
