Umm...might be or are pregnant and if you are. Trust me girl be strong you don't need a man women are strong! I may have a man but he works nights and it's hard to deal with but in the end it makes u stronger and if you are don't worry there is plenty of help for you out there starting with child-support! and wic and things like that first of all how old are u?

Marie... you can call Women and Childrens Services. That is Wic. Once you go to your doctor the first time, you can ask him for a referral. You take the referral with you your first time at wic and they will just talk with you giving some advice and lists of places that can help. Also, they will give you checks for things like Milk, cheese, juice, peanut butter, eggs and cereal to help with pregnancy nutrition and believe me, my husband works, but milk is crazy expensive and with all of the baby expenses trying to get prepared that little piece of mind is great. Also, check in your phone book for a pregnancy care center, often they are religiously affiliated, but they do NOT discriminate. They offer a lot of help and support and are a great way to meet other single mom's or single expecting mom's. They will also provide you with somethings you need for your baby and just general guidance. Also, ask your care provider to apply you for medicaid. All baby's are covered their first year of life and when I say covered medicaid covers for babies. It is just one less thing that you have to worry about. I hope this helps. I remember being scared too... GOOD LUCK. Keep us posted and stay strong! Drink some REAL fruit smoothies, they'll help keep you energized and they are light enough that they don't make you naseaus.
