I started feeling decreased movement last Wednesday (25w4d), only felt like 1 kick Thursday. Called the doctor, they checked baby's heart rate and it was good. She told me not to worry, it's the central nervous system still developing. Friday, Saturday, and as of yet today I have felt absolutely no movement. I am having pre term contractions, which I'm not worried about cause I had them with my other son, they're just uncomfortable. I'm just worried cause I have felt no movement in 3 days. Is this normal or okay at this point in my pregnancy? Is anyone else having a similar situation?

I had the same thing happen..... I went a week feeling barely any movement, but everything was just fine. I am now just about 29 weeks and feel lots of movement most of the time. Just try lyeiing on your back for a little while concentrating only on feeling the baby move with out any distractions, that will prolly work. Don't worry ....really
good luck

I actually started having pre-term contraction at 27 weeks. Never had them before so I was a little scared. I also dealt with the lack of movement. My doctor ressured me that everything was just fine and at this time the baby still has alot of room to move around. So although you may not be feeling hin/her moving they are. By 28 weeks they say that you should feel your baby move about 10 movements within a 2 hour period. I am not 37 weeks and I swear this little girl thinks she is in the olympics at time. Also he/she may just be moving when you are doing something so you don't actually acknowledge that he/she is moving.

I was like that too, your doctors wont worry till 28 weeks, then they make you count everyday.
So I know its hard not to worry, but dont. You might have tried this but drink something really cold like juice, water ans lie on your side and see if you get a kick.
I am almost 29 weeks, and now I feel kicks all the time, mostly in the morning. But at 24-25 weeks, I felt them one day and none the next.
Hope this helps Merry Christmas

Im sure everything is okay. Just like new borns our babies have busy active days and days where they arent as active. If your doctor isnt worried then I woudlnt be either.

connie is right. doctors typically don't worry too much about movement until after the 28th week or so. i actually had a similar thing happen during my first pregnancy somewhere around 30 weeks. my doctor did the same thing; listened for the heartbeat and determined that everything was fine. your doctor is going to do everything they can to make sure things are fine, you can trust that. babies are like everyone else; sometimes they just need to rest for a couple of days :)
