My sister in law gave Evelyn a boppy pillow and she told me to wash it as it had been sitting in my brother's storage unit for months. On the tag it says to wash seperately with a white tennis ball!??!!?!? is this really necessary? ↓

i think if you just wash it it might lose its shape, so i would buy a new cover and wash that, and put the boppy in the dryer with dryer sheets at a high temp to kill and thing that could be on it ↑

a tennis ball flies around in the washer and dryer and helps the item keep its shape. I've used a tennis ball with a down blanket before for that reason. It's really good in the dryer, but I've always used a regular tennis ball (yellow) and it was fine. ↑

They recommend a couple of tennis balls (never heard of a white one) because it somehow makes the pillows keep their shape. You should put a ball in the dryer too. They actually have some specifically for the dryer to replace your dryer sheets. They aren't scented, and I don't know how well they work cause I haven't used em. ↑

hmm, now i dont know about drying it on a high heat though. the first time i washed evelyn's clothes i dryed them on regular temperature and they shrunk :|. so with any baby stuff i dry them on medium. i swear it's a scam to get you to buy more baby clothes lol. i'll hunt for a tennis ball i guess. . . ↑
