I am about 9 weeks at the moment. Sunday I had cramps all day long, and Monday when I woke up I noticed my breasts were not very sore, and the heartburn I have been feeling was not really there either. Same thing today. Last week the same thing happened, although the cramps were not nearly as severe as they were this week. I spent two days with barely any symptoms, then went to the doctor for an ultrasound, where I found out everything was fine. I am in a complete state of anxiety and emotional hell right now. Last summer I had a miscarriage, but I didnt know until I went to the doctor for the first ultrasound, where they found no heartbeat. My body has the tendency to miscarry and not pass anything, apparently. It gives me hope that I had these symptoms last week yet everything was fine, but due to the nature of the cramps I had this week, I am greatly more concerned. My doc tells me cramping is normal and I just need to wait it out until my appointment on the 18th, which is ten days away. I'm going crazy. Does anyone know anything at all about loss of symptoms other than that they signify miscarriage? Has this happened to anyone else and it did not end up in a miscarriage? The nurse I spoke with on the phone today reminded me that every case of pregnancy is different, however this is of little comfort when I am in a state of unknowing and all I want in the world right now is to have this baby be all right.

as a first time mom (and first pregnancy) 'What to expect when you're expecting' is the bible to me at the moment, and in there it says "whatever is normal is" and what that means is anything that happens during pregnancy is normal for any woman because each of us are different.. Symptoms can appear or disappear after 8 weeks (from what I've read, I'm not an expert) or anywhere along your pregnancy and come back or not come back at all, if you think its something to be concerned about check with your doctor. hope everything turns out well with you and your baby, good luck!
