Try and work out why you're depressed... If there's a reason, try and solve it. Or you could go to the doctor and get anti depressants... Have you told any friends? You could tell a close friend and tney would help you =) x

Its really easy to say find out what it is that is making you depressed but depression is really not like that... I suffer from depression and its often when i actually have nothing to be depressed about... The root of depression isnt necessarily something tangible or real, it is like a dark slimy creature that curls up in the pitt of your stomach and u cant get rid of...
My only advice is to find things that give u passion... get involved in stuff u wouldnt always do.. read to kids, tlk to old ppl, go for walks in beautiful places, go dancing, listen to other ppls stories and dont over analyse your own problems other wise u may become obsessed with them... and do stupid childish things every once in a while jus for a laugh... the thing about depression is that if u are prone to it it is likely to come back when u think its gne forever... but just remember tht the good times wouldnt be as amazing or wonderful without the contrast of the horrible, crappy times... good luck

Karissa-
I suffer from depression and working out without drugs has helped tremendously! Depression runs deep on both sides of my family and unfortunately I have noticed it getting worse and worse as I get older. I had tried a few different anti-depressants in the past and the side effects were too much to handle. I had heard from several people how exercise does the trick because it increases the amount of "endorphins" from the brain! Try it, it works for me. If I miss a week or more of working out I notice the depression coming back. I guess in a sense it's a good motivator for someone who hates exercising. ;) Good luck and God Bless!
