I have to mention this incredible website for anorexics and bulimics, by a psychologist who has recovered from ED which she had for thirty years. IT is www.karenkellock.com and she has a public forum www.karenkellock.org.

She says the only way she could recover was through eating small bits of fat then fasting, or fruit. She eats a little fruit or a tiny bit of cheese then fasts 24 hours and has stayed thin and happy. She is never bulimic but beyond that her books are about how to deal with "people problems". You and I know the problems anorexics (which she calls "anas") have with people!

thats does not sound a good way of recovering to me by eating a bit of cheese then not eating for 24hrs there are much healthier ways.

i think the bit about the cheese is good i wish i could have a little nibble of some cheese without thinking id explode, omg this is so weird to ED it sounds good but if i and others were well or getting better no its a terrible idea

of course it doesn't sound right to society's ears--because they have become phobic about fat, and the ana takes it to an extreme. Fat is appetite-suppressing and kellock says we need it for out skin, emotions, glands, brain and heart--and mostly for satiety so we don't crave to eat all day long. Fat fights fat--by burning our own fat off the body. Amazing theory for anorexics, and also bulimics--no craving, no bulimia.
