My daughter is in grade 10 and has just been diagnosed with nonverbal learning disability. She also was born with mild cerebral palsy -- right side hemiplegia. Is there anyone who has a child with similar difficulties?

I have a 9 year old daughter who has mild right sided CP and has recently been diagnosed with non-verbal learning disability. I stumbled on this forum, while searching for info.

I also have a 9 year old daughter who has been diagnosed with non verbal learning disorder . It is very scary since I thought she was so smart . She has been above grade level since entering school. Third grade has been very difficult since she has not passed one test this year. This is very scary to me. I worry about her getting lost as they tell me it gets worse in the future. I feel like I don't know how to help my own child. The doctor had no brochure or any kind of reading materials on this. I had to learn about it off the internet. I am terrified for my daughter. She is the best child a mother could ask for.
