I was watching tonight on my channel 5 news that a animal control woman was biten on the top of her head by an Alaskan Malamute. She was called out to an address where there was a reported dog fight. When she arived she found only the 100lb Alaskan Malamute. She walked him to her truck opened the door, bent down to assist the dog in to the truck when he bit her on the head! She had over 100 stapels and stitches to close the wound! The dog is back with its owners awaiting word as to what will happen to him. The neighbors cant believe the dog bit they say he is such a kind friendly dog!

Stress and fear will do that to the friendliest.

That was the same conversation my daughter and I was having after we seen the news. We both said the same thing, the dog was probably still stressed from his fight and then came the dog officer. That makes a bad combination for the dog! The dog officer had a laceration from the middle of her forehead that continued over the top of her head to the back! From the size of the wound you would have thought a bear bit her!
