| What is your opinion on pitt bulls? There has been a lot of discussion regarding this dog. Do you think the breed should be banned? Do you think the owner should be required to register the dog and use a muzzle when the dog is in public areas? Some communities are doing this regarding pitt bulls. ↑ |

| I think that ALL dogs should be temperament tested. And for the ones that do NOT pass they need to be registered with the game worden, ASPCA, or any other organization for that matter to be considered a risk and wear muzzles. And if people dont test their dogs they should be given a notice stating that they have a certain amount of time to get them tested or the dog is handed over. This will show the community not only pits can pass the test but other breeds as well. I think each city should start making this mandatory. ↑ |

How, does someone that doesnt know the dog tell if its aggressive or not?
No wonder people are scared of ALL Pitbulls, who wants to risk patting one, in the hope its friendly....gag them all I say

In most countries greyhounds have to be muzzled so they dont chase cats, gag Pitbulls so they dont attack other animals and people....why isnt that law yet? ↑ |

| Funny that ALL my dogs that I have are Temperament tested. Funny how ALL of them passed. And every dog that my dogs have produced have passed. All are PIT BULLS by the way. There wouldnt be just pitbulls in that category either. It would be a good way to ELIMINATE the dogs that ARE aggressive...including NUMEROUS OTHER BREEDS!! ↑ |

Dingo's feed out of trash cans because they get used to people leaving full trash cans around camp sites. Some people even throw them food. Thats why they put signs up telling you to keep your camp site clean...and not to feed them...and so on.
You stop feeding them...and they revert back to catching prey, because its innate behaviour. Every dog has hunting instincts...its just that they dont HAVE to use them ↑ |

It's not about the damage that the dog can do Hiddy, a dog bite is a dog bite. Any animal that shows agression needs to be dealt with. Thats why you teach your children not to approach any strange dog, and to be careful and respectful of all dogs. We don't teach them, that sheepdog is ok, the pitbull is not...umm you can probably pet that spaniel but definately not that rottweiler.

I have NEVER approached a Pitbull, because I dont like them.
Ive never had the opportunity also because no one that I know is stupid enough to keep them.
And dont worry, Ive been around them. Ive been around a DICKHEAD at a holiday camp that had 3 of them tied up to a fence that were used for pig hunting. He had the NERVE to bring them to a camp that children were attending.
They snarled and ran at people all day long, but were on thick chains tied to his bullbar on his truck. During the course of the week, people with children moved to another area, because they didnt want their children around them.....dont blame them either! ↑ |

oh and let me not forgot about the Pitbull that belonged to someone who was taking my course. She was told that she had to leave her dog at home because it was too dog aggressive and was destructive in the class. Quite an antisocial animal to have if you ask me.
Oh, and Ill never forget the time that she was trying to show us how playful it was, and it bit her. ↑ |

I'm surprised people actually try to correct you when it's obvious you're as open to the truth as a brick wall. You mentioned pits that kept lunging at people. Obviously, if the owner had properly socialized the animals, they would not do that. I love how you said that we should gag anything that has the physical capability to do fatal damage. Well..there goes the human race. Did you know that on average, Pits scored the highest on the temperment test? Did you know that you are more likely to drown in a 5 gallon bucket than to be attacked by a pit bull. Did you know that the number one biter in america is the Cockerspaniel? ahem..you mentioned that Pits were bred to fight. Yes, they were bred to fight DOGS, not humans. Human-agression was not tolerated in any way shape or form. Now then, dog-agression is completely different than human-agression...not that you're smart enough to know the difference. Maybe I shouldn't say that, since all you know is what the media has force-fed you. ↑ |
