Hiddi, I understand there are some people in this forum you dont particularly like. But is it necessary to be bitter towards every one who enters the forum? I noticed a few new names that posted and you seem to be aragent towards them. There are people who visit the forum that Im sure dont want to argue with a disgruntal member. It would be nice if you could keep you arragent remarks to a minnimum! ↓

okay now I don't like Hiddy haven't liked her for sometime not because of her thoughts and opinions on the whole subject that all of this arose from but because of the name calling. But I am going to say that she does have a small point. Some of the people in here have attacked her but of what I have seen is hasn't happened until she has called someone a name first. Now I have NEVER called her a moron or any of such names that were mentioned in here and I was attacked. For what reason?
I have never joined in a conversation to say that I know it all. That everything that I have to say is FACT. Most of my opinions are based on PERSONAL EXPERIENCE whcih by no mean makes me an EXPERT. I wouldn't even be an expert if I read every single book out there on any subject. But by no means am I stupid, uneducated, a moron, close-minded or even non-intellengent. If I have no answer I will say so or I simply do not join the conversation.
This debate as much as Hiddy would like to believe there is no room for debate but there is room for debate in every topic whether we want there to be or, hasn't been a debate for awhiled. Infact although we continue to stress out opinions on the subject is really hasn't been about the subject since the name calling has been thrown out there because once that happens the conversation turns into an arguement and no one listens. We read a little (and not all) and start attacking. I have become defensive not because someone disagrees with me or that I do not believe in what I belive. I become defensive because I was force to be. If you attack me I will guarentee you that I am going to fight back.
No one in this board right now has shown that they are experts and yes I know no one has been saying they are. Again most of the opinions here are based on each individuals experience with the breed or breeds.
Yes statisics are not 100% accurate. What it comes down to is that if it looks like an apple it must be an apple. In otherwords because a Staffordshire looks like a pit it must be a pit. I am not defending these dogs. I am defending the ones who are accuse of being mean who are not. I am not saying that these dogs do not carry the RECESSIVE GENE as it was called. I am just saying that some of these dogs do not act on them. Yes it is true there are agreesive pitbulls that act on that aggression. Is it because this is what they bred for I don't know? Is it because of how they were treated, I don't know. I do know that both are a factor whether we would like to believe it or not. And whether we want to believe it or not there are yet a bunch of these dogs that although still label aggressive will NEVER act on this.
So go ahead and call me all the names in the book, but be prepared for me to stand ground because I will. If you want to have an adult conversation act like an adult. Leave the name calling to the children who use name calling out of fustration. Who resort to name calling because they have nothing else to say. Name calling is meant to be hurtful not to get a point across. ↑ |
