why is it that my dog (the lab) dosen't like to have his feet touched? if you touch the botton of his feet he will pull away. I have also noticed my aun'ts dog and my cousin's dog doing this. Why don't they like their feet touched?

how old? do you put chemicals on the floor? Have you ever played with his/her feet as a game? There could be many reasons for this. Try making a game and rewarding touching his feet.

~ HE~ is 6 yrs. old, and no, we don't put any chemicals on the floor except to clean it, which gets rinsed off, and we don't put anything in the grass, and no carpet powders either (they don't work and they murder the vacuum, lmao).

Thanks for the advice though, I'll try it !!!!!!!!

kids? ages? if your dog is 6 I dont think I would push it to hard. Start by rubbing his feet every now and then. While you do it praise him he will soon grasp that it is ok. I know how he feels I dont like my feet touched either.lol

Sorry it took so long.
