| Scar you left a blog Nov. 10th 2010 about wanting to adopt a pit/boxer mix. I live in Los Angeles and rescued one from a man who had let her go into the streets because he couldn't afford to feed her anymore. Yeah sad story to say the least. I have had her almost 3 mos. She is now 11 mos old and a sweetheart. She is brindle with a white chect...simply beautiful. I have spayed her and fully vaccinated her but already have two of my own and it is a bit much right now for me and my boyfriend. She is extremely social, knows when to submit and knows how to sit, give high-five and go down on command. Extremely smart and intuitive. If you are still looking you can email me at [email protected] or if anyone is seriously interested feel free to contact. I will require a home-check and an application filled out. I am not a rescue but have rescued a couple of dogs and found wonderful homes for them. I practice the formality only in the best interest for the dog : ) ↑ |

| Get the puppy you will be happy that you did. I rescued a 13 week old puppy she is now 6mos old and has gone through puppy training and basic training. She is the most loveable dog I ever had. Very loyal to me and loves my other two dogs one is a puggle and american staffordshire. Best dog I ever rescued. ↑ |

My Husband and I rescued a pitoxer about 8 months ago. She is 1 year old and very smart, loving and affectionate. She loves people and being around other dogs. Ziva learns new tricks often with consistency she can pick up on a trick in about 2 hours! We taught her to bark softly when playing or getting treats its so funny because she usually barks without making a sound by mimicking!
I think you will do fine, keep in mind they are very intelligent and want to please their owners. Ziva is such a good girl we love her so much. ↑ |
