I have silver blue pit/boxer puppies on the way. Both parents are registered, but I cannot register the puppies. They will have shots and be wormed. I am not a kennel, puppies will be very spoiled LOL. Mother is the pit bull and she loves playing with my pomeranian and bichone. Both parents are very well tempered. I am in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. I will sale to GOOD, LOVING, homes only. E-mail if interested. [email protected]

Jessica, when are your puppies due?

Elizabeth, Kathy is absoultly write I would recomend crate training to start. As puppies they can get in to many things that can harm them..... also as Kathy said it is a great place to retreat to. How ever I ((( dont ))) recomend using it as a punishment time out! this will only make him not want to be in it, he will associate it with a negitive place. You dont want to discorage the dog you want him to like the crate.... make him think it is a pleasant calm place to go to. Again as Kathy is write to say *be firm* and consistant with training if you arnt consistant you will lose all that you teach him. Boxer breeds are verry high strung they do jump a lot so yes you want to break him of that as soon as possible! As with any dog you want proper basic obediance training this will make for a wonderfull dog!

I hear yah!.. My pit boxer HATED going into the car.. but here is what we did.. we picked him up and put him in the car, bacsue he was small enough i could lift him.. and he was freaking out in the car, worried about what was happening.. but once he got out of the car, he relized he was at the dog park.. the dog park is a leashless park we have here in town.. and now he knows, whenever he goes in the car.. hes aloud to go play with the other dogs, and whenever he goes in the car, he gets a treat... now.. even when we go for walks.. he stops and sits beside the car.. and wants to go for a ride.. hope that helped.. maybe even a bit...

TREATS... any kind of treats that your dog likes.. once he goes outside or in the car.. give him a trear, to know that he is doing somthing good.. or, if you cant even get him to go outside or in the car, throw a treat onto the grass, or onto the deck outside, and my dog runs to the treat... we also somtimes go to the pet store and get these HUGE bones, that we put outside and my dog Nero chews on it forever. he loves his bones!

I have a boxer/pit mix, Presley. I got him when he was 2 months old and he will be 3 in December. He is the best dog!!! Everyone who meets him loves him and he listens very well. I have 2 young children and he is very patient and loving with them. They even attach his leash and try to "walk" him around the house! Presley has also been around my brother who is mentally retartded and he is very loving towards him. Just remember to start training at a young age...Presley picked up on simple commands right away. He is a very smart dog and only barks if he hears someone at the front door or sees someone outside...and he stops barking as soon as I tell him to. Helps me feel safe! Just remember to show your puppy love and he or she will be grateful to you and listen. Good luck with your puppy!

Dominique, how did you get your puppy to behave so well, i have a 9 month old boxer/pitbull.. and i have been trying to train him ever since we got him, but he still isnt responding to my camands very well.... he sits, lies down, and stays when i tel him to.. but thats about it.... he still runs when i reach for him, uses my carpets for the washroom, barks at me, bites at my feet, and so on.. how do i stop this?

I hope everyone who is reading this has or will spay or neuter your pet. No matter a cat or dog.... don't help grow the unwanted pet population!!!
