Medical and cosmetic companies commonly use animals for scientific experimentation. Medical companies use animals to test medicines. Cosmetic companies use animals to test for reactions to cosmetics. Do you think this is an acceptable practice?

Medical yes if it will/can save the lifes of humans.
Cosmetic,no. Even with the the testing they do on animals,(many people would be willing tobe gini pigs) there are some cases that the makeup still burns, stains and causes reactions to peoples skin. To me its senceless

Animals are not routinely treated well by animal experimenters. Millions of animals die each year in experiments, others are often not adequately anaesthetised and are abused by handlers and experimenters. I don't think animal reactions have much to do with human reactions. I wonder what animal experimentation has really contributed to human medicine and the cosmetic industry.

Its a hard arguement, anyone that has had a serious illness in their family would probably say Yes. But at the same time wouldnt necessarily agree with the way animals are treated in experimentation labs. Its really sad also the way they house them up to the point that they are used.

I dont know, Im at a loss. But I wouldnt say no to treatment if a loved one got sick. So I might not agree with it, but i condone it
