are corn snakes agresive?????????????

Name: Ale | Date: Feb 23rd, 2006 4:15 PM
I don't think corn snakes are agressive. I handled my brothers snakes for 2yrs. He did tell me that when there hungry its not a good idea to habdle them. My brother has a heating lamp and a water dish. There not that expensive, they don't eat that often. I would look online for more infoand get prices. It all depends how much you want to spend. He lets his snake run lose in his room until my mom freaks out. I

snakes live in the forest and they eat mice there not that dangerous i think it will be ok to have a snake it depends on how old he is 10 and under can have a small pythhon it wont bite you it depends on how you treat it or rase it so it wouldn't be bad for him to have a snake

Corn Snakes are the best beginner snakes. they are great with children. I have 4 corn snakes. they are really great pets. They need mice and heat light don't use a heating pad because it can burn the snake.

Snakes are not the most easy animals to raise, but they are easier to feed than mammals for they don't eat as much as mammals you do not need to feed them everyday. They eat mice, and are only carnivores they do not eat plants of any kind. Snakes are not evil so I suggest you let him have on for he will learn responsibility and also I suggest you get a small snake to start with like a king snake or a corn snake. These are easier to raise than pythons and boas. They live all around the world except antarctica. They are cold blooded so you need to have a heat lamp to keep them warm.Don't take a snake from an unexpeirienced breeder and make sure it is docile. Also I think you are unimformed about these wonderful creatures they are not slimy and most species are not venomous. I hope my advice helps.

i have a question.. i have a corn snake that i have had for the last years... and for some reason.. in the last (almost 8 weeks ) he won't eat. for a while he seemed fine... but i think he is starting to weaken... he has never refused food before... so i know this is wrong. i took him/her to the vet... i asked them if they knew about reptiles before i went... they told me they did... so i went there... they didn't have the slightest clue about anything about snakes... they sent me home with an antibiotic.. i gave it to him every other day a couple times... but stopped because i don't think that is the problem... i dont know what the problem is... the heating is right... there is plenty of water... i try to feed him about every other day but he still refuses... any thoughts guys?

CERTAIN TYPES OF SNAKES ARE VERY TAME AND EASY TO CARE FOR, FOR EXAMPLE THE CORN SNAKE. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SPEND ABOUT 150 DALLARS BUYING THE SNAKE,CAGE,BEDDING ETC. THEY DONT GROW VERY BIG THEY HAVE BEAUTIFUL COLORING, AND YOU CAN GET THEM AT JUST ABOUT ANY PET STORE. OVERALL SNAKES ARE FUN, ALSO A GREAT LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR SON. OH YEA JUST DROP A MOUSE IN THERE ABOUT ONCE A WEEK FOR FOOD

i am only young but i have read that wen they r younger they eat PINK mice and as they get older its normal mice, they live in tanks, wen younger they live in 10 gallon tanks but as they get older they live in 20 gallon ones.
They can life for 15-20 years if kept in the right enviroment.
they do not bite only if :
you smell of food
corner then or if they are hungry.
they must be kept in an area which has a cold are and a hot one.
this is all i know,, i hope it can help you
