I was just on YouTube.....and I saw a dog swimming with a bandana on..... So I just had to leave a comment...

Letting your dog swim with a bandana on is a dangerous practise, because as they are making the paddling movement with their front paws, their paws can become entangled in it.

My dog was swimming in Sydney Harbour, she went out after a tennis ball (a fair way) and her front foot got caught in the bandana when she was swimming back.
She almost drowned, I have video of it.

Please....do not let your dog swim with bandanas or loose collars : )

Or they can get snagged on sticks and other things under the water. That happened with my dogs collars. Now I take them off before I let my dogs swim.

I never put bandanas on my dogs, but you know if I did I would never have thought of that happening!
