I went into the pet store today to buy a fish tank, but ended up going to the library to get some books on keeping fish. While I was in the pet store I bought my bird a perching stand, she wont go on it, although shes only had it about 3 hours, I put one of her toys on there and some food, opened her cage door and put it next to the cage. I tried to put her on it, but she flew off. ↓

| Shes pissing me off, I didnt spend $100 on a damn perch for it to sit there and not be used. I put some grit on it before and grabbed her off her perch and stuck her on there, she went nibble nibble then quickly scooted back in her cage. ↑ |

Shes a little cockatiel. A cute one too.

Last night, she was on the perch, and she got up on the swing and had a swing. there is two more heights above that, she wont seem to go up any further, only time will tell. ↑ |

No, I don't have any birds. I used to keep budgies when I was younger, but I have two cats now! I also have two guinea-pigs and the fish.
I enjoyed keeping the birds though. They used to fly onto my shoulder and play with my hair *LOL* ↑ |

| I have a chinchilla cat and she doesnt attack the bird. My dog doesnt either....the three of them sit happily on the couch together. My cat just knows that if she touches the bird there will be trouble ↑ |

actually the bird sits on top of the cat and pulls her hair out, and she walks up to the dog while its lying down and bites his toes.
She knows that she can get away with anything basically ↑ |

My cat wouldn't tolerate a bird. She brings all kinds of dead creatures to me! She's a real Killer Kitty!!!!!! Grrrrr.......
My new kitten has stolen her bed from her. She is very depressed at the moment. She growls at him, but he's feisty and full of cheek!!!!!!
He's also mugging my kids for their food and goes into the cage with the guinea-pigs! He's a real handful *LOL* ↑ |
