my husband has decided that he wants a feret. i personally have nothing against them but those red eyes make me a little nervous. i've read up on the internet about them but i would like to know if anyone has one and their personal experiences with them. ↓

Be sure they are always supervised! They love to get in to every thing, if not watched they will cause a lot of grief. Other wise they are wonderful pets, good luck! ↑

thanks for your response. i read somewhere that you're really not suppose to keep them caged up...and you can litter box train them. i think i have decided to get my husband one for his birthday next month ↑

We had one, and it was very sweet, by my stepson kept feeding it crayons and wouldn't leave her alone. So we gave her to a woman who had another feret. ↑

if your gonna get one get a MALE... thy are really sweet, and love to play, my cat and my ferret were best friends, i thought mine was a great pet, and he was litter box trained! ↑
