| I will totally agree that people need to know the breed. There is TOTAL ignorance against the breed. I have to admit . I have rescued many breeds that I had no problems with, however I had I had been a RESCUERof pit bulls ( thank god I didn't believe the stero type) that WAS ONE OF THOSE with ignronace. I was blessed with my 'MaMa Dell" a brittle pitbul, Tone Tone, Sebastein, Wolifie and not least Chase AKA Provo survior)l I became educated less ignorant about the breed. Thanks to her rescue and entrance into my life and the people who gave her up, I am learning more to become a responsible pit bull owner every day. Not in this world would I thought I would own a pit bull. I belive in all rights for any breed however I would caution any preson to be prepared to have ignorance, animal control, police called on you. They looks and ingorant comments I recieve are daily occurance when I walk her. My MaMa Dell is and has been my rock when I need her and nothing but a well trempered love bucket. .I wish all continued education on this breed, provided safety for your animal9's) and remember to be mindful to the less educated. They will hear what they want to but they are they 'listening'? ↑ |
