My grand mother wrote this poem like 10 yers ago for my cousin, Well it also applys to my son. i wanted to share it with all of you out there that have babys with no fathers.

Draw me a picture
My little boy was standing there with his paper and crayons in his hand. Looking so sad, He said mommy will you draw me a picture of my dad? He dosen't some and see me anymore and I don't know why but, If you'll draw me a picture it will help me not to cry. He's only three years old and much to young to understand what can happen between a woman and a man. Daddy wants things his way or no way at all and mom well, she is to proud to crawl. I took the crayons and paper and sat down eith an aching heart. Come sit down beside me son where do you want me to start? His face lit up as bright as the sun and he began to tell me how he wanted it done. He said " My daddy is almost tall as the sky and theres chocolate bar color in his eyes. His hair is like mine long and strait. Do you think he will know me when I'm eight? We went on drawing like he told me to, when we were finished he said " Mommy I'll never leave you." So where does that leave a boy of three, I know he must wonder whats to become of me. He has good food, toys and his clothes are the best that could be had, The only thing missing is his dad.

that is so touching... i wish someone would write a poem about my dad who was turned away at my door by my mum who couldnt be bothered. why is it that when parent's split they decide if the child needs the other? just because my mam didnt need my dad anymore didnt give her a right to take him away from me. it took me 30 years to find him... and i will never ever ever ever forgive her for that. i don't get it dad wise or mam wise... babies need their parents. end of story.
