I'm pretty set on the idea of having a baby.
I really do believe I am responsible, mature
and ultimately have the patience to have a baby.
I'm not saying It's a priority or anything,
but If It were to happen soon I would without
a doubt be happy about It.

-Any advice is fully welcome.

Honey, You can think you're ready but I can say(AT 36 ) you're NOT. I thought at 3that I was "ready for the world". I have a great job with the school system. I'm working on my Dr'toral degree.

i want to ask you a few questions first....do you have a boyfriend? a job? does he?...can you support your self and another child? do you hae a plan for if he leaves you? theres so much more to having a child, then just goin through birth... you really should take time out and tally down all the things you need plus want for your child then tally up how much you make...then look at school perspective who will watch the child while your in class...think about the things you miss out on if you can get a babysitter...i was just like you me and my ex were together for 6 years and we were okay with what happens but now im 19 and 5 weeks pregnant and he doesnt know if he wants to be in the picture ...i thought he would never leave me and now i have to think for my child and myself even though i would never have an abortion this is goin to be the ride of my life and im taking the time now to plan for it...i have to tell my parents this weekend and the part that sucks is my father is leaving to go overseas next month...try to understand what your parents will think also they only want the best for you and for you to have it as easy as possible...finish all the things you want to do as a teenager and a young adult becasue once you bring a child into the world its all about them...start doing some babysitting or going to some parenthood classes to try and understand the difficulty and joy a child is...i really hope you look into this more before you decide anything...and if your boyfriend really loves you...assuming you have one...seriously he'll wait till you both ready and not do it for the moment

Here is some advice for you honey. DONT DO IT. I am almost 24, happily married, am pregnant with number 2, and I thought I was ready for the challenges of motherhood too. I had the first one at 21, and got the shocker of my life. It is a HUGE RESPONSIBILITY. I was ready for the first, now I'm even more ready for the second, but it is NOT EASY AT ALL. Motherhood is 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year FOR A VERY LONG TIME. Not to mention all the necassary items that are required for just the first year or two, just to keep them alive, are VERY EXPENSIVE. Who is gonna pay for that?? I'd think twice if I were you. Once you have a kid, EVERYTHING changes, not just the fact that you finally got a baby. A baby grows, has a personality, gets sick, needs lots of love, attention, food, clothes, shelter, diapers, wipes, formula, medicine, diaper bags, and a WHOLE LOT MORE that I don't think you've thought about. A baby isn't something that you just cart around and oogle over when it is convienent for you, and take pics of when you get bored. Sleep, going out with friends, school functions, such as dances, etc, is all over once a baby comes in the picture. I can't stress over just how much it changes every single aspect of your life when a baby shows up in the picture. PLEASE THINK TWICE. I love having my toddler, and would not change one thing about having him, but I'm just trying to let you know with being as young as you are, it is not something to take lightly. Good luck.

Before you go ahead with this idea, take some time to read the posts here in this forum made by the 15 year old single mom's. read about there sleepless nights and depression !!! How it feels to go without a shower and food for 3 or more days !!! You haven't slept in so long you're lucky you even know your own name !! You might think the whole world will be there to help you out, but the truth of it is it will trail off after the first month. TRUST ME !!! I am 27 I have a 17 month old son, I have my own business I run from home !! have worked in daycare for over 15 years, and I know God put me on this earth to be a mother !!! I am doing it alone (my son's dad sees him every other weekend at best) You say you're ready for a baby, and that my be true (in your eyes) but are you ready for the lifestyle change that follows when you become a mother !!! Think of all the great moments you'll be missing out on in your high school years. Prom, Spring Break, Weekend road trips to that kick ass party, dating your high school crush. (Woman with babies scare the hell out of grown men with jobs, what regular 15-18 year old boy is ready to walk into a relationship and be a Dad) You will really miss out on some great life experiences by having a baby at such a young age, in the future you may grow to resent that child !!! No child deserves that !!!! Please take some time to read what the other young mother's here are currently going through !!! Get to know a few !!!

thanks for the message, i think you catch my attention is not just by your looking, i prefer the women has her natural beauty in their heart. i am an adult and i do not believe in true love, but i trust life-long marriage. so my wish is my future wife is never married before, if they have children, that is fine, we can raise them up together with my own children. oh, my hobby is walking, reading and enjoy the good food. actually, my plan is after my marriage, i will give my wife 50% my salary, if we have children. i will give her another 10%, i need keep 40% my salary is enough, maybe 20% to support my mum and dad later, i think i just belong to the middle class, one house and one boat, two or three car, own my own land and some restaurant business, i want to open my own sushi bar later in San Francisco area. anyway, life is short, i will try my best, work hard and glory the God, help more people. i think i believe in god since i am a postgraduate student in england nottingham, i need do two part time restaurant job to survive, pay my rent and pay my tuition fee, life goes the hardest way, every night when i finish my night shift job, i pass by one 700 years old church, jesus picture is just there on the window, i pray him to give me some peace in my heart, Jesus is always ready to listen and he is a great father. i think i will follow his rule whole my life, i never married and so far i have no children, but i do not want divorce, i can sign contract with my lawyer, if i divorce due to my family affair, i am willing to pay 80% my salary to my children as penalty fee, i believe i am the only few can do this in Seattle area, haha.....nice talk to you, if you want to meet, i think i have time next week, by the way, if you really want to go step further on our future relationship, i think i do not need bother to date other women, i believe i am a honest man and i am a good family man too.
best regards
young
