Try NOT making such a huge deal out of it. Don't come across to him as it being a moral issue or anything because he won't care/understand that anyways, just set up a punishment of some sort that he'll hate and MAKE SURE he does it EVERY time you catch him and you could even increase the punishment each time as well. Having my son write sentences and/or do dishes and whatnot works for me with that sort of problem, goodluck. ↑ |

first..gather family..agree to secure all things. then have each fam member tell him that he will be monitored every time he is visiting. make some visits with the intent of demonstrating the monitoring by not leaving him alone at any time. restrict movements...except to the bathroom ...and take turns monitoring him. absolutely no computer games of any type. books to read only restrict visitors to his room...to only 30 min all the above for 7 days...explain that it can increase or decrease depending on his behavior... be prepared to go as high as two weeks...have him earn the less time chores/homework can be traded for free time..30 mins at a time ↑ |
