Now im not quite sure, but what where the ways to prevent cot death? you place the child on its back with no pillow? And regards to blankets do you wrap them up in a bundle or just place the blanket on top of them. Im sure i will get told all this in hospital once ive had him..but it would be nice to have some idea now, if someone has some tips. I'm so nervous about bringing him home already!!!

you place the baby on its back
in the feet to foot posistion which is at the bottom of the cot so he cant slide under the blankets and suffocate.
dont smoke around him
get a thermometer so you know the room temperature is correct it should be around 38 c
no pillows until he is one year old
use blankets instead if duvets

i am studying childcare an di also have a 15 month old son myself hope i helped.
