I've recently became a single mom to my 7 year old daughter. My husband decided to leave on our 8 year wedding anniversary. After having me arrested and thrown in jail for battery. Yes, I DID slap him, and will take whatever fine I get out of it. He calls me on our anniversary to tell me he is moving in with some chick. I totally find what I did jusitified. And obviously the court agrees because they've already dropped it down to a disorderly conduct and it will end as a county ordinance.
My question is this. As much anger as I have towards him, how do I try to save the relationship with the daughter and him? She already talks bad about him but I don't know if it more of what she thinks I want to hear or how she truly feels. Any comments are welcome. ↓
