Severa months ago I discovered my 12 year old daugter viewing adult pornography on our computer. I had a conversation with her about sexual behavior and how only adults can decide when and if they are ready for sex. I thouht this had ended her behavior, but recently I found a vibrator and pictures of naked men under her bed. When I confronted her she would not tell me where she got it, only asking what else she was supposed to use if not that. I took the items away and grounded her for an undetermined period of time. Is this acceptable for a 12 year old? I am very concerned about her behavior and not sure what to do. ↓

this is sad, but I understand your concern all too well. 12 and 13 year old girls these days are determined to have sex without fully understanding the consequences. It's a shame they don't realize the value of waiting until they're older. ↑

around about the age of 12 some girls begin the change in life and start to hear things and see things. by talking to her you have done the right thing.I am also guessing that soon she will begin sex education lesson in school :? maybe you should put a website block on your computer, there are going to be a few things that come to mind here. and sorry not wishing to be rude .. either she has seen or heard you and your partner haveing quite time together, or she has hear things from some of her freinds.. of course the first thing that would come to mind is that someone is messing with her. but this may not be the case ( I hope not) it may be something as simply as one of her school freinds has taken this from their home .. the more you let your daughter feel she can talk to you about things the more you will help her though life , not only with these things but others things as well. ↑
