Hi Krissy, You are still very early in your pregnancy and don't need to make any concrete plans but you should start looking at your options. Please email me at [email protected] and I can direct you to some good resources.

Jen, I am with pretty much all of the other gals that have responded to your post. I totally feel that you should not have an abortion. I have never been single and pregnant but I have been pregnant 4 times which 2 resulted in miscarriages. One thing that you must realize is God gave this child to you. Not everyone can have children and everyone knows that. You have been given a gift. Although you have hard times ahead of you God will provide for you if you seek him. One thing is for sure, you will have a hard life if you do choose to abort your child. Do not allow the World" to convince you that abortion is not murder because it is and deep down every woman knows that. I beg of you if you find it to difficult to care for this child after it's birth, I know that there is someone out there who would love that baby like it was theres. Give your child a chance to live. If you go against God, and abortion is against God, problems are sure to follow. If you are looking for answers on the net be sure to try and find testimonies of those who have had abortions. Most regret it. Jen, life will not be easy for a while, but I guarentee, you will never regret having this child. With Love!

No one is every ready to have a baby, but rest assured that once you reach the end of your pregnancy your mentality and acceptance of your child would have changed. Think of it this way, many people that become single parent mothers often become single after they've had the baby. This believe it or not is harder as your mental state is less prepared. Children are a blessing and if your guy does not change his mind about the baby, rest assured that when mother or father forsakes you, God picks you up. God never gives you more than you can bear, trust me!! Watch your fear transform into a little budle of joy. Being a single parent mother, I can't say that I have any regrets, neither would I trade him in for all the money in the world. No child is a mistake, every child is formed and created by god and given a purpose to fufill on this earth, what will your babys purpose be? Be encouraged, God will get you through these difficult periods, and you'll be amazed at what he has instore for your. God Bless you sweetheart and I pray that he will strengthen you during this season and shelter and protect you throughout your motherhood. xx

WOW - you just explained my same situation. I got on here stressed and looking to see if anyone is in the same position, I was so surprised to see what you wrote. I'm almost 6 months along and mine started out the exact same way. I had thought I was embracing the pregnancy better but under financial stress, it really brought up the second guessing and the wondering on how the heck I'm going to provide for this child if I can't get my own stuff under control. I never decided that I wanted to have a kid or be a mother, I just decided that I didn't want to have an abortion. So now I'm wondering.... I don't really understand people's desires to have children or I guess I just didn't get to that point in my life before the chance came to me. But I feel cruel too because I know how many ladies out there would die to be in my position and I'm not appreciating it fully.

other moms... have you felt this way? Did it change once you had the kid? I'm due jan. 22, 2008... if you want to talk my email is [email protected]

Don't worry -everything is going to be just fine, I'm almost in the same situation, even a little worst -I'm 24, five month pregnant, have no family, my boyfriend decided he doesn't want this kid. I have nobody here in USA, but I have faith in God -he will help you, God gave you this gift. I was thinking about abortion too - but prayed alot for God to show me the way and he didn't let me do this terrible mistake! I'm sure I can make it so can you!

U are not the only one in this position, i am 25 years years old ,i got pregnant on my honeymoon, my husband and i have split up due to family conflict after only 6 weeks of marriage, we dont have any contact with each other and he does not want the baby, i feel very depressed sometimes and alone i cant talk to anyone about it especially not my family, i think he has someone else in his life, but i have decided to have this beautiful baby, i am financially stable, My advise to u is hang in there, prayer really helps and your life will change for the better after the baby who will become your world. Take Care and dont loose hope

This seems to be quite an older post, but it does keep happening. I'm 23 and 4 months pregnant. Turns out the guy that got me this way is already married and has a kid. So, he won't be leaving his wife, and I'm pretty much man-less. But I do have a supportive family and friends. I want to raise my child but I worry that I am not financially stable enough. Anyone have advice on how to be a working single mom and still pursue your own dreams? I work in the arts and worry that I won't be able to make a living to support two in my industry.

I am sorry I cannot offer you hope but I can tell you, you are not alone in your feelings. I am 23 and about 5 and a half months along. The baby's father lives with me and cannot be faithful so I am on my way to a shelter. I often feel like I should have gotten an abortion but I know this is not the baby's fault. It's hard to remember and sometimes I feel so alone and lost. As I am typing this, he is on a phone chat line talking to women. Just another example of how neither I nor his child mean anything. I wish I could help you but keep your head up. And know you are not alone.

hi, im 14 weeks pregnant today :) i have been looking for a chat room or something for single parents to be. i am 20 years old young i know yes but im more than happy its my life dream to have a baby, im in a very similar situation to many of u, i got pregnant with the babys dad and when he went back to manchester to live i found out i was preg, he told me he was infertile and couldnt have kids! turns out was just low sperm count which is two different things he came straight back and we lived together for a few weeks he was more than happy then my EX best friend got hold of him again n convinced him he wasnt the dad she said it was a possible of EIGHT!!!! people he is the only possible father by far i tried explaining my whole ovulation cycle to him how fertility works but they seem to be either really stupid or just refused to believe me , but u know what im more than happy he dont because its just goin to be me and my kid i dont have to send him/her off to someone every weekend no one letting my baby down no heart break if we ever split up its my rules and no contradictions, i would really like some pregnant friends around the same time as me so i dnt feel like im the only one its happening to its always a wander if whats happening is normal its my first pregnancy and i dont have a clue whats normal or what i shud worry about

Hi, I'm a 28 year old woman and I have 3 children. I'm pregnant with my 4th child. I'm 7 and a half months pregnant. My doctor place me on bed rest about 2 months ago. I'm om the family medical leave act and I have about 3 and a half weeks left of that. I was making 56 thousand a year and now I'm only making 230.00 a week. My job sent me a letter saying if I'm not back to work by Oct.17 they will have to let me go. I'm one month behind in my rent. I get no child support from my two oldest kids father. my youngest child and the baby that I'm pregnant with now have the same father. My youngest child is 23 months old. When I was pregnant with him I was also placed on bedrest from my 5th month on. My childs father left me in the hospital and I didn't see him until my son was six months old. Stupid me I get back together with him after he did me so dirty and I get pregnant again by him about 11 months later. As soon as I started to have trouble in my pregnancy and my income reduces greatly he leaves me with so many bills and so story about him not being ready for a relationship.. He's 28 i'm 8day's older than he is. I just needed to get this out.
