Has anybody seen the adverts on TV recently? I think it's called a V-tech learning centre but I might be wrong. It plugs into the television somehow and the child can play with it and learn signs, etc...I'm thinking of getting one for christmas for my kids who will be 16 months old at christmas. They look quite good but was wondering if naybody knew more about them and if they were good. My sister had the leapfrog learning bad and then a leapster when she was older, but I think the V-tech would be good. I was in town the other day and I found a twin buggy for only £2.99 which I bought and put up for xmas, I've bought two dollies, one black and one white aswell to go with it they were only a couple of punds each aswell. Is anyone else doing their christmas shopping already? My mum gave me my xmas present oin August. Only a few weeks early (whatever) Anyway, it will be our first christmas really as they were too young last year to enjoy it as much, but this year I'm hoping it will be good. I'm feeling really xmasey. I went shopping yesterday and there was decorations and presents for sale. You like christmas? I usued to hate it, I suppose it's because my mum was always a little depressed at Christmas but this year, I just feel it's going to be a good one!

Hi i have started shopping as well!
I personally dont agree with getting kids as young as ours computers i think that it could start off bad habits!
But then having said that if you limit thier time on it i sopse it would be ok!
The best thing to do would be to pop into the Elc and ask to see one out of the box!

I thought it would be okay as it is a learning thing. I don't allow them to watch too much tv although they are mad on Dora teh explorer and balamory. It's too expensive for them to watch Telly, all the electricity! and Juliette their childminder doesn't have it on because one of the others she looks after has photosensitive epilepsy so she prefers to be safe than sorry. I always spend a fortune in the ELC, I love all their castle fantasy toys and can't wait till mine are a little older and I can start tripping over princesses at midnight! I got the two dolls I was on about from there. I'm looking forward to all the "santa's coming" stuff. My mum told my sister that santa wasn't real last weekand she was looking forward to a life without all that, but I love it and am really excited. Sorry Lynne, I've had a complete memory loss, what's your story? kids, ages, names, martital status (sorry for sounding like an an annoying survey on the street!)
