I'm completely worried about my child and don't really know what to think of this. I am 18 years old and this is my first pregnancy. During my 19 week ultrasound they found two markers for downs. 1. Calcium spots in the heart. 2. Cyst in the brain. I am now 34 weeks pregnant and the cyst in her brain went away but the calcium spots in her heart have not. Doctor says that everything is growing okay and that there is no other markers but still I am worried. Doctor said that it should go away like the cyst did but still hasn't. I don't know what to think about it anymore and it seems like my doctor is shying away from the questions me and my mother ask. I want to know the truth. Should I worry or shouldn't I?

My child also had a calcium deposit in his heart on his 18 week ultrasound. My quad screen also came back abnormal with a 1/230 risk for him having down syndrome. I had him June 1st and he is perfectly healthy. I would try not to worry if I were you because I worried myself sick and he is totally healthy!
