Hi! I, am also doing a research study on down syndrome. I am doing a study on the different perspectives on down syndrome, and I would love to know if you would have any information or contacts as far as doctors, or professionals. I would also like to know anyone else's take on down syndrome, mothers, siblings, anyone who has experience with it.

| Firstly, you should say, "a child with down syndrome". You should always put the person first. I was 19 when I had my daughter, and my triple screen came back with an increased risk. I did all of the ultra-sounds and the doctor was 99% sure that she didnt have down syndrome. When she was born was when we were told that she indeed did. ↑ |

| hi am a mother of a downs baby boy, his a little angle at 2 months old, sleeps all nite , feeds great, he has got quite alot of med problems but when he had his operation he was so good, i got offered the test to see wether there was any problems with the baby i resused because there was a risk of misscarage, im happy i didnt find out because hes a special baby and i couldnt be happier, and for the parents of kids with downs your all so lucky, xx ↑ |

| I am the mother of 2 girls with Downs. The first one died at the age of 6 mo. and then 3 years after her i had another one who is a healthy and loving 12 yr old.
