I have a beautiful little girl who is almost 2. She is not crawling, walking or talking. We have taken her many places and so far we have no diagnosis. We are seeking further testing but in the meantime I am so frustrated about what to do for her. Also, we recently found that we are expecting again and I am terrified of this repeating itself in the new child. (I should mention that there are 2 older children who had no developmental problems or delays.) Can anyone help?

i have a kid with development delay, if your girl is slow to bloom nothing can hurry it up, so just give her time but if there is a issue that also takes time to diagnose. everything is slow for kids with issues including government and services. i also have other children and no issues with them just my last one. ( i was 30 when i had him, so God know why, but there it is) I sympatise with the worry and frustration.

Hello, read your post. My daughter had the same thing going on. many test, lots of blood work. We finally got a diagnose at 22 months that she had SMA type 2. she never crawled, rolled, nothing. she can sit on her own but not get their from laying down. please go to www.fsma.org and ask your doctor for a genetic blood panel test.
I wish you the best of luck. lots of love to your girl.

my son was born with cp and hearing impaired. he was over a year old before he could even sit.. I got him into early intervention- he had a PT and ASL teacher.. di you try this..I aslo have another child that has problems but from two diff things- he was born with a cleft pallete and is going to use ASL as well.i think just get her into early intervention and by time she is 3 or 4 im sure they wil have an answer..
