Hi Parents,

Being in the medical field I have always been very compassionate towards the disabled populations. My girlfriend's brother has Down's and he has alot of disabled friends with whom he regularly interacts. Since she is in fashion design and often does styling for many people, I was wondering if parents and children would have interest in a program that offered disabled children an opportunity to congregate, get their make-up done, and maybe try on some clothes or do some sort of fashion makeover. I would love to hear some of the moms out there offer some encouraging commentary as well as any criticisms, any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Would this be a nice activity mom's could do with their kids?
Why or why not?

Have you ever involved your children in any programs like this in the past?

What kinds of activities do you involve your children in currently?
What are the benefits and negatives to these activities?

Good Luck everyone.
Thank you.
