my daughter is a first grader and we just learned that, in our state, schools are not required to provide IEP assigned accommodations to her during in school assessments as long as her grade point average is not affected by her performance on the assessment. this info came from our state's dept of education. how is this not a violation of her IDEA rights to have accommodations?
