Many special needs children require extra protection and comfort when it comes to sleeping and going to bed. Children can roll out of bed, become entangled, or wander away from their bed during the night hours. Some people will say that hospital beds are the answer, but hospital beds are often uncomfortable and can often do more harm than good. For these reasons, I have designed a safety bed that is a positive alternative to the hospital beds that you see elsewhere. My beds are hand crafted by Amish woodworkers and attention is given down to the slightest detail. I challenge anyone to find a sturdier or more comfortable bed than mine. Depending on your child's need, Medicaid or your private insurance agency may cover the cost of the beds as well.
