I've just found this really good website for toys for children with special needs. It's been set-up by a mum who's son is Autistic. It's called www.sensetoys.com

They had just the things we need for our boy - the play hints are excellent and these people at Sensetoys clearly know and care about what they are doing.

This is sooooo nice to here. My daughter has spastic diplegic cp and at 9mo. she just started rolling over...can't sit or crawl. It is so hard to find stimulating toys for her which are also safe and I fear that by cont. to give her just rattles I'm not helping her development which is already delayed. Up until now I have been modifing my own exersaucer, head huggers, bath tub ring...well you get the idea...to suit my daughters needs.
