I have 6 week old son who has bilateral club feet. he has had several casts put on... i belive we are on our 4th or 5th set... before he was ever put into the casts he was an "angel baby".. he sleep good and ate good. now that he has been in the casts its a different story. after the first day (and several days following) of the casts being put on he crys hysterically and he doesnt eat good. i havent been able to get him to sleep for longer than 2 hours or eat more than 2-3 ounces a feeding... i am dying to get some sleep and to see my little boy be able to get some rest too. any suggestions???

When our daughter had the casts put on they were always very cold. We took a small headed pad and laid it on her cast to warm her up as she would lay in her swing. The warmth seemed to sooth her a lot. Sounds like you are near the end of casting! Good luck.
