Hi i am just wondering if anyone knows the answer to the above question.
The reason that i ask is because i was out the other day with my friend who has a baby of four months old,we were wakling along by the bus station and a little boy of about 2 or maybe 3 came up to the pushchair and just slapped her in the face, and the mother said sorry but the child has ADHD is this possable at this age?

I don't have much experience on the issue but I think people throw the term ADHD around all too often these days when a lot of the children are just simply out of control.Every single thing needs a Title .I'm not saying the disorder does'nt exist I'm just saying 20 years ago it was almost unheard of now every second child has it.

when i was in college i took a class on the attention disorders. and according to my professor and the books you can't tell if they have it until around the ages of 6-8yrs. the only real way of telling if they have it is a brain scan. their brains actually look diffenent than other children. hope some of this helps. wish more people and docs would know this info and our kids would be better off. they get a pill that magically "fixes" everything now a days.

My Stp son was diagnosed with bipolar disorder by age 4 so it is possable that this kid is ADHD but many be has other issues. My Brother & Sister Inlaws son is adhd and they have cut out all sugar from his diet ... including no soda. It has helped him a great deal. He is still on meds but now the dose is alot lower . Now he is also taking it less often.
Hope this helps

My friends son was so wild at two, that she started taking him to the doctors. Thet then referred her to a specialist ,who then diagnosed him with A.D.D, he was then 3.
