Hi, I'm new here. I was just wondering if any of you knew information about section eight housing in IL? (Cook county, DuPage County, and Kane County) ?? I am poor now, and I don't know how to go about locating this stuff. Also do I need to apply for it? If I find a place that has section 8 housing, what do I do? How long will all of this take? Because soon I'm going to be out of money... a friend told me of this because she thinks I'm qualified. I have a 6 month old daughter, too. ↓

I have no idea about IL, but here in PA there is a 6-12 month waiting list, so get your application in asap. ↑

I would call the welfare office and ask. They may give them, I don't know anything about your state, but they should at the very least have the number of who to call. ↑
