Get some Monistat (sp?) cream...always cleared my boys right up. Corn starch powder is best for babies. They say that the regular stuff is bad for their lungs.

If you have a waterproof liner...take off his diaper for a bit and air it out. Do this as much as possible...this will help to breathe and dry out the moisture that is causing the rash...

My sisters daughter would get rashes all the time, my sister started using corn starch and changed her diaper brand, the rashes went away! Also you can use Vaseline that will keep the wetness away from the skin.

Have you guys ever heard of grating potatoe up and putting it in the diaper so it will will take the fire out of the rash? My hubbys grandma told me to do that.

The best one i got is sodocream. Thats in aussie though - so i dont know if you guys have it there.

Oliver has only had ONE rash ever..that stuff along with letting him "air out" worked wonders.

He on cloth or plastic nappies? if you dont have that cream i would be more then happy to send you a jar

monistat works because diaper rash can be caused from a yeast invection that is past down from the mother...Do you suffer from one easily or you may not even be aware of it...eat yogurt and feed it to your child if they are old enouph. also stay away from refine sugars.

i'd try a and d ointment or vaseline like others have suggested. i've also heard cornstarch is better than baby powder, but i don't use either.
