My damn house is turning into a drop in centre for the local kids!
My eldest son has a friend who comes over most evenings and I give him his tea. One of the grandmothers who I know, just a few doors down has her daughter and two grandkids staying there for a couple of weeks - one 10 year old girl and a 6 year old boy. Well, the little boy has started to visit all the time now and his sister follows him along too - to see Toddles and all my animals. She brings her two cats and they wander around miaowing at me as if I should know what the f*ck they want!!!!!
We went to the shops yesterday after school - just to get some groceries and when I got home, the two kids were there waiting for us - asking where we'd been etc!!!!!!!!!!! OMG......then, this other friend comes over and the house was full of kids 'n' animals!!!!!
My husband got home, took one look at the place and went upstairs into the attic to hide!!!!!!!!! I had to chase the younger kid and his sister as I didn't have enough food for everyone!!!!!!!
