for Christmas??
My house is decorated, I've done my shopping and my gifts are wrapped.
For some reason I still don't feel very Christmassy.
I'm planning on doing some baking but I bake all of the time so it wont be much different to make it feel special and festive.

What do y'all do to get into the Christmas spirit?

uh oh....are you being a hum bug this year? lol...

hmmm...i made a gingerbread house with Anika.

I make decorations (cut paper snowflakes and put on the window, i make popcorn garland for the tree....other stuff too...) I find MAKING the decroations makes it feel more christmassy, than just putting up the stuff that i've bought. lol...

when I decorate the tree i drink some rum n' nog and listen to christmas music. LOTS of rum n' nog....which btw we're going to do tonight, so i better go buy some rum...ha ha

we go for night time drives around the town and look at all the xmas lights on people's houses.

go take the kids sledding...

watching xmas movies. i LOVE National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation...ha ha...and The grinch, oh and we have that old old classic rudolph movie....you know the one that comes on tv every year? love it!! ha ha...

anyways...those are some of the things I like to do...hope you can find your christmas spirit!!!

I'm not being a hum bug, I just don't feel the warm fuzzies and the excitement like I usually do.

We're going to take Silas to get his picture taken with Santa pretty soon(Santa being the same guy who married Jason and I ha ha ha!)

Maybe that will help.

I think once I watch It's a Wonderful Life and Home Alone I'll feel more in the mood. At least I hope so! :)

I am being a scrooge this year, I wasn't going to put any thing up, but i did put up stockings and the Christmas lights out side, but no tree. Tyler is too little to remember, and since Chris is in Afghanistan its lonely here, and i spend alot of time at my parents house any ways.

This year doesn't feel like Christmas at all, and my husband just broke his wrist and it makes me feel even worse because holidays are suppose to be spent with family, not with a broken wrist in a horrible country with out family.. Im just so sad, and I cant even be there with him or help him.

This is the worst Christmas ever!

I have all my Christmas cards written (just need to post them) and all my Christmas gifts bought (just need to wrap them) I have the tree and the decorations up.

But what I do is I have Christmas music on a lot, and Mark, Joey and I are going to the European Christmas Market which is held in town. I'm gonna buy our Christmas outfits this week, and I buy in all the Christmassy food and drink, Joey will be going to see Santa soon.
