House work by it'svery nature is terrible but for me doing dishes is the worst!!!

I hate the laundry, my washer and dryer are in the basement, so that makes it even worse, but I guess it's better than trips to the laundry mat.

UUGGGHHH!! The thing about housework that truly bites is that as soon as you finish... it needs to be done again! Folding laundry and putting it away seems to be the ongoing saga for me.

Marge, you are so right.....when all the cleaning is done, it needs to be redone, and it always seems someone wil pop in when it needs to be redone!

My hands are all sore from washing dishes. I put cream on, but it doesn't work anymore. I also hate ironing and the baby tries to sit on the vacuum cleaner when I get it out so I can't use it while he's up!
My husband cleans the guinea pigs out for me though, which is helpful. ↑ |

| Washing and drying dishes are my pet hate also, I have on occasion given myself a break from them and used paper plates and plastic cutlery for three days straight. And I forgot to mention plastic cups for coffee and drinks for the children. All I needed to wash were the saucepans. ↑ |

Laundry for sure! I have four little girls and my Husband has to have his uniforms washed! Ugh! I'd give anything for a machine that could wash dry fold and PUT AWAY clothes!

| I hate every aspect of all housecleaning but I especially hate dishes! Mine are always piled up to heaven.Its not that I dont do them,its just that everytime Im finally lucky enough to get them done,the cycle starts all over again because I have to cook supper every night.Then alot of times I dont do them at night so i get up in the morning to a pile of dishes and it takes me forever to get them done because I soak them awhile before washing them to make washing easier.And my dishes problem sucks more than most peoples because I only have a single sink,not a double!! So I wash my dishes in a huge bowl and rinse them in the sink! It sucks! I hate cleaning my bathroom too.The tight little area around the back of the toilets the worst,I cant get to it to clean it,my floor is black and filthy back there,yuck!!! My entire house is dusty as hell,awful dusty.We have a small house with too much crap and nowhere to put it.The kitchen table is never bare,we eat in the livingroom.I just cant get motivated enough to tear into my housework.Id like to throw everything into a big dumpster but I cant because 90% of the stuff we have we may use someday,or its important and cant be thrown out.My kitchen has almost no counter space and very little cabinets.My bedrooms have no doors or closets.There is 1 closet for the whole house in the laundryroom,which is full.The garage has a dirt floor that isnt even level.We bought the house because it fit our budget,(low income)so we just have to make due with what we got. When my sons ready to move out ,his room will become a closet-a large closet! If you can offer me any ideas please feel [email protected] ↑ |

I hate doing the dishes also, but this is because when I was a kid I had to do them for a week at a time. I can't really say much about ironing, except that the other day we got out the iron for an art project and my son said "hey mom, you never use that thing! What's it for?" To be honest, I wait until I have like five or six loads of laundry done and then do the folding, otherwise I would spend entire days folding and putting away folding and putting away again. It helps that my children have enough clothing to dress a small country...
Bathroom, yeah, definitely grossest, because I have a husband and a four year old who "miss" ALL THE TIME and it is hell trying to get that pee smell to go away no matter how much I scrub. (We only have one bathroom.) ↑ |
