I just wanted to let everyone know that technically I do not belong in this forum. I am not a stay at home mom in fact I work outside the home 40-50 hours a week. But I envy every woman in here. I used to be a stay at home mom and unless I can find a way to make some good money it will not be an option this time around. Baby number 3 will come in February and this will be the first time my maternity leave will only be about 6 weeks instead of 6 months to a year. So please dont be offended by me posting in here. If so let me know and I will post with the working moms.

That is exactly true. It does go both ways. Most of the time I wish I could be at home but then I remember losing my mind daily. Never having adult conversation! Thanks for welcoming me.

Pretty much... It is in my job title... I just do meaningless office work... but yes right now it pays the bills. I would love to only work part time but right now it just isnt feasable.

Because my first 2 are with my ex husband so technically I am single. The new baby dad and me are together but we are not married so I get this state help called 4-c that helps pay for childcare. If I didnt have that I would pay almost 300.00 a week just for the two girls but instead I pay 55.00 a week. But when we do get married I will not get this benifit im sure and we do want to get married which mean I am looking at at least 450.00 a week for daycare... come on I dont even make that!! This is why I was also looking for something I can do at home once the baby comes. It is very hard its like I cant afford to stay home and I cant afford to work... its so aggrivating.

Thats exactly why I am at home. I am not going to work to pay someone else to raise my children. So my husband works 8-5 and then 4 days a week from about 6-10 I clean office buildings and one private school. Its not much money but every little bit helps. Yea my husband and I have to sacrifice some of our time but it is worth it for our kids. And neither one of us work the weekends so we have the whole weekend together as a family. And a lot of the time I get home a little early so we get to spend an hour or two together before we go to bed.

Right now things suck pretty bad as it is. My b/f works in Chicago (about 1hour 30 mins away) from 1:30 pm to 1:30 am. I work from 9 am to 5pm 5 mins from my house. So we see each other on my lunch break and weekends and that is it. I see my girls for about 3 hours at night... long enough to do dinner bath and bedtime. I wish I could do something part time at night but with Lexi in school I hate to take any of our time together away. Seems like no matter what I am screwed. I can say this me and Jay get along really well since we dont see each other all day long! So I guess that is good.
