Has anyone here ever gave their baby a name that their spouse was in love with but you weren't sure and now you regret it. Just wondering?

i dont nessesarly hate the name but i did not want to name my older son christopher-john but my husband was adamitt about it i just gave in i was to tired of fighting about it with him the name was sentamental to him so thats what it ended up bieng needless to say i had 2 more boys after c.j. ( thats what we call him ) and i named them both so that made up for the 2 names my husband picked out for our first born . at least thats what i told him anyway .

It's funny, because my mom said she really didn't like my sisters name, but she was the last out of three girls and couldn't think of anything else. My sister let her husband name their first child but she got to pick the second. I wanted Justin Alexander but my husband hated the name Justin and plus we wanted something different, so we decided on Preston Alexander. I'm still not quite sure about the name Preston, but I believe the child becomes their name and that is what God intended their name to be no matter what.

Originally I planned for all my kids to be named "J" names. I don't know why, but I just had my heart set on it. My stepson's name is Jack, and my boy/girl names for this baby were going to be Joshua or Jayden. Somehow I let my husband talk me out of Jayden in exchange for Skyler. I'm hoping I don't regret it later.

lol...my dad always teases me and says that I am named Cindy after one of his old girlfriends!!!....my mom just laughs along so I don't really know if it's true.
I have 2 stepsons named Kaiden and Callum and I think my husband wanted to keep the "k" thing with our son... We finally decided on Tana though.....it is a New Zealand name (where my husband is from) and I loved it. His middle name is Clarke which is my maiden name. All my brothers have girls so it was my way of making sure my family name gets passed along the generations.
