I was wondering if anyone does Pilates, and does it really do any good? My current excersize routine usually consists of pushing the double stroller around the block and doing sit-ups with a toddler on my stomach....

yes if you stick to it, it is the fitness secret to the stars, all those sexy hollywood bitches do it. lol... it is kinda like yoga, harder and not so zen. is is a core strenght thing

I love pilates!! I do pilates to a DVD I bought about six months ago (Windso Pilates) and I just (like yesterday) bought the firm which I can't wait to get. I have a treadmill, an eliptical machine, the exercise ball, and a weight machine but they all get boring after awhile, it's nice to be able to mix up the work out a little. Stick to it and you'll see great results, no impact but really hard you can feel your muscles burning.

Pilates is tough! It looks a lot easier then it is.
I've not kept up with my old video that uses pilates techniques (Callanetics), but only because my toddler insists on using me as a jungle gym whenever I do it...which makes the pilates even more difficult, lol

It is an absolutely excellant form for toning the body. I recommend Pilates.

I do Denise Austin pilates.. It is not that difficult to do (great for beginners). It helps the abs and back. I love it. I always feel like my posture is so much better with pilates. I walk taller.
