My friend has just been told she has this.
Does anyone know what her chances of having children are?

When I was about 16 I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts. It was very scary because I was not sexually active, nor had I ever been to the gyne before, but my monthly period would not stop for 2 months!! I was terrified. They put me on the pill and they went away. I had to keep after it and go on the pill on and off, but went on to have 2 healthy pregnancies and 2 healthy little boys. As long as she gets proper care and takes care of them, she should be able to.

a friend of mine who has been tryin for a baby for the past 6 months or so has just been diagnosed with this. the thing is she has a 6 year old daughter who she didn't have any trouble conceiving. there is hope for her and for your friend to have a baby with this problem so she can keep her head up, it can happen.

I was diagnosed with PCOS at 32. My husband and I were preparing to conceive so at the time it was worrisome news. However, my doctor prescribed glucophage or metformin which I took for three months before I found out I was pregnant. We have a beautiful 8 mnth old daughter today. I'm not a doctor but the medication really worked for me - good luck to your friend:)

There are too many women that are told today that they have PCOS, it has to be from Birth Control Pills messing up our hormones or eating too much sugar and fast food.
