I remember a while back you posted your recipe for samosas. I am TOTALLY craving samosas and if I don't have one i'm going to flip out!!!! So I thought i might make em for dinner, and yours sounded pretty tastey and easy to make. Could you post it again for me please! :-)

What are samosas? If you don't mind me asking.

it's a East Indian type food. They usually look like triangles. They have a thin crispy dogh on the outside (similar to spring or egg rolls) and then they're stuffed with potatoes, beef or chicken or lamb, peas or whatever veggies....a bunch of spices....sometimes they're baked and somtimes they're deep fried and then you dip it in a chutney sauce. I like the mango papaya chutney best.

2 tsp ginger
3 small cloves
500 grams / 1 pounds of ground lamb or ground beef ( lamb i prefer )
2 large onions sliced thin
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp salt

Add your own spices..if you want it a lil extra tasty...things from paprika, cumin seeds, chillis, tumeric.

1 tbsp. ghrum masala (add the ghurum masala after the curry is cooked by stirring it in before serving)

Just put all the ingriedents into a pan, fry off..add a TINY bit of oil if the meat looks a bit dry..dont over do it othewise you will end up with greasy ones...drain..if too much.

Just pre purches your own pastry. And roll those suckers up..put in the oven about 30-50 minutes..depending on the strength of ur oven

Ohhhhhh and serve with a Mint yogurt dressing ;) delicious
