Yeah, I'm glad that I didn't take him to the vets after all now :-D ↑ |
awwww I can't believe that little guy made it. good job a.s. ↑ |
A.S. aka mouse whisperer...lol. Good job! woo-hoo!! ↑ |
"releasing him" hahahahaa
you still shoulda called him Mickey though...what an original name for a mouse. ↑ |
Morning Atomic! Quick question for you. Is your name anywhere close to Addy? NOT BEING NOSEY...there is a reason I'm asking.
And good for Squeaky!! We usually have the odd assortment of recuperating wildlife around the house. ↑ |
Atomic....just curious...but why are you handling a wild mouse.....did you get it checked out for viruses and such? ↑ |
her cat attacked it and she has nursed it back to health
GO A.S.! lol ↑ |
yeah but did it get checked out? haven't you heard of the hantavirus? ↑ |
Yay!! That is great news A.S. ↑ |
oh i had been wondering AS.......that is outstanding!!! it truly is. Hat off to you no question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ↑ |
No, my name isn't close to Addy - I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean.
I haven't had it checked out for viruses. It's a field mouse and it doesn't bite. I always wash my hands and disinfect the container when I clean it. I never let the kids handle anything that it's been near and the container is enclosed perspex, so the kids can't get in to fiddle with it.
I'm always very aware of stuff like diseases and infection. ↑ |
bmes...i don't think she took it to the vet
and no...i haven't heard of that. what is it? and how would you catch it? ↑ |
It's not prevalant in the UK apparently. The main risk of infection comes from urine and faeces and I'm always really careful about how I clean him out etc. ↑ |
whoa! i guess I'm a little late lololol ↑ |
