How do you feel about being a stay at home mom? Though it was an adjustment, I love it. I love being able to watch all the changes in my kids as they get older. I love making sure that they know someone is always there for them. Plus I think its important when they are younger to have one of their parents there. do you intend on obtaining a career in the future? Is this a strong desire? I honestly don't know. I know I will obtain a part-time job in the near future, just to help out with things right now but I honestly think I will just wait and see. A lot will depend on my children as they grow up and mature as to whether I will get back in the work place. how do you feel towards your children when you are frustrated with being at a home all day caring for them? Every mom or dad goes through days when its hard to be home. Usually if its a really bad day I just have them play in their room with toys or sit down for a movie and I step outside for a moment. The most important thing is to not take anything personal because that's when you start to reach breaking points. what is your opinion on full-time working mothers? I think that different things work for different families. There is no universal answer, it whatever is best for that family. is being a homemarker a career of sorts, in your opinion? do you see it as a full-time job? Absolutely. Being a homemaker, you are on the job 24/7. No vacations or breaks. But the "pay" you receive is amazing. Watching my children grow up is all I'll ever need in that department. My husband even tell me that my job is harder than his. how do you feel about your partner working and being the sole breadwinner? I think its what works for us, and it makes us all happy. do you feel a sense of fulfillment from being a stay at home mother? Absolutely. There is no feeling in the world like it. what is your personality like? (anxious, outgoing, shy?) I'm really outgoing. I love being on the move, always switching gears. I think that's why staying at home works for me. how would you describe your child's personality? and waht is their age? My oldest is 4 years old and she thinks she's a princess. Which can be kind of frustrating. She's kind of insecure, which makes me sad, so we work a lot on building her confidence. But she adores her two younger sisters. I couldn't ask for a better oldest child. My middle child is 3 and she's a total tomboy. In a lot of ways she looks up to her older sister. But even when she tries to wear dresses like my oldest one, the minute she sees dirt, she's gone. She's very secure in herself and is content playing on her own a lot or looking at books in the corner. My youngest is 1 and she is a fire-cracker. She is a total goof ball. She's definitely my comedian. And she really looks up to her older sisters. But she also knows that she is the baby, heaven help me. how would you describe your parenting style? (easygoing, uptight, strict, etc.) A little of everything really. I can be really strict on some things and really easy-going with other things. It all depends on the situation really. Do you feel like you have accomplished much in your life? How so? I think so. I think that molding the next generation is the most important job that I can have. So many things are wrong with this world and by raising my kids to be good, respectful, caring people. I am making my contribution to a better tomorrow. ↑ |
